Boise State Athletics constantly looks to upgrade facilities in an effort to provide the best possible experience for Bronco student-athletes. Capital projects include the building or renovation of any new facility such as stadiums, locker rooms, weight rooms, coach’s offices, academic centers and more. As the Broncos look to the future and prepare to be one of the top athletic departments in all of college athletics, it is important to stay at the forefront with top flight facilities.

One of the most recently completed capital projects is the Bleymaier Football Complex, a $22 million facility with nearly 70,000 square feet of space which opened in 2013. The complex includes a team locker room, player lounge, weight room, athletic training area, coach’s offices, meeting rooms, academic centers and more.

Currently, the Broncos are prepared to undergo several capital projects, including a new on-campus baseball stadium set to open in 2020 in time for the Boise State Baseball season. Other capital projects in line to begin include the renovation of Albertsons Stadium, an indoor facility for track & field, an indoor golf practice facility and the renovation of the Varsity Center and Allen Noble Hall of Fame. These areas have all been identified as points of pride for Boise State Athletics to improve or create which will enhance the student-athlete experience on campus. Capital project gifts can be made over a 5-year span and often include naming opportunities.
